Our colleague Dr. Stella Ondrejčiková (Department of Dialectology, Ľ. Štúr Institute of Linguistics) had a presentation entitled Takto hovorí o jazyku veda (“This is how science speaks about language”) on 14 November 2025 at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik High School in Rožňava.
It was a part of the series „Navštív svoju školu – Spoznaj svojho vedca“, carried out by the Európska noc vedy (“European Researchers’ Night”). She talked about recent findings in the field of linguistics, but she also tried to encourage students to think of themselves as scientists.
