One of our long-standing text contributors is Samuel Marec, a publicist, writer, and translator whose texts rank among the most distinctive voices in contemporary Slovak journalism. Thanks to Samuel Marec, the Slovak National Corpus includes not only his own writings but also the works of his father, Anton Marec, author of publications about the Tatras and a long‑time mountain chalet keeper. Thanks to these texts, we can build a balanced Slovak National Corpus and capture the diverse forms of contemporary Slovak.
