How do foreign words become a part of the Slovak language?
The Ľudovít Štúr Institute of Linguistics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, in cooperation with the Press Agency of the Slovak Republic, has produced a 20-episode series titled Slová zvonka (“Words from Abroad”) which deals with foreign words in contemporary Slovak. These short, practical and easy-to-understand video explainers can be effective not only for students, but also for journalists and the general public.
