On the occasion of the Year of Ľudovít Štúr, we are going back to the roots of the Štúr’s family and their lesser-known Lubin branch.
Did you know that Ľudovít Štúr’s grandparents came from Trenčín, but settled in the small village Lubina pod Javorinou? In this village Pavel Štúr (*1761 – †1827) laid the foundations for this branch of the family and became a member of the local guild.
