Our colleague Dr. phil. Jakob Horsch, M.A. (Slovak National Corpus Department, Ľ. Štúr Institute of Linguistics, SAS) participated in the international conference 11th International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association, held 31 August to 2 September in Bielefeld in Germany.
Dr. Horsch gave his talk titled More interesting, the more you consider it: A cognitive approach to ‘reversed’ Comparative Correlatives. The study was the result of a collaboration with prof. Dr. Thomas Hoffmann (Department of English Language and Linguistics, Faculty of Languages and Literatures, Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in Germany).
The 11th International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association was organized by the University of Bielefeld. The aim of the event was to create a forum for research in the field of cognitive linguistics.
