On September 4, 2023 the president of the Slovak Academy of Sciences Pavol Šajgalík was presenting Awards of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in the premises of the Smolenice Congress Center. Two of these awards went to the Ľ. Štúr Institute of Linguistics.
The SAS Award for the popularization of science and social applications of science went to Radovan Garabík, Vladimír Benko, Matej Považaj, Peter Ďurčo, Mária Šimková, Alexandra Jarošová, Bronislava Chocholová, Katarína Gajdošová, Iveta Valentová and Katarína Balleková, for the project of Dictionary Portal of the Ľ. Štúr Institute of Linguistics SAS.
The SAS Award for the popularization of science and social applications of science received also Lucia Molnár Satinská, as one of the hosts of the SAS scientific podcast.
