On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, its president, Professor Pavol Šajgalík, awarded commemorative medals to collectives and personalities.
The Ľudovít Štúr Institute of Linguistics was awarded one of the medals for building and maintaining the Slovak National Corpus databases.
