Psycholinguistics of Slavic Languages 2026

Our colleague Dr. phil. Jakob Horsch, M.A. (Slovak National Corpus Department, Ľ. Štúr Institute of Linguistics, SAS) participated in the international conference Psycholinguistics of Slavic Languages 2026, held 27 to 29 May in Zadar In Croatia.

Dr. Horsch gave his talk titled Fixed in English, not (that) free in Slovak: A contrastive study of weight effects. The study was the result of a collaboration with Vladimir Buskin, M.A (Department of English Language and Linguistics, Faculty of Languages and Literatures, Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in Germany).
